Growth has been the hallmark of Jim Fetterhoff's merchandising philosophy. In the process, Midway Supermarket has become a keystone in the Hegins Valley economic structure.

With 95 employees, Midway is the valley's largest non-manufacturing private employer. Much of Midway's beautifully-displayed produce is produced locally from Masser's Produce, Huntsinger Farms, Schwalm Farms, and Wetzel Brothers Farms, just to name a few. "That allows us to have very fresh products with deliveries daily," says Fetterhoff. "It's a help to them and to us."
